Eric Kripke’s The Boys announces series premiere date

The Boys is the latest project Eric Kripke is involved in and the superhero series destined for Amazon Prime now has an official release date.
From the man who created the Winchesters, Eric Kripke will forever be known to the SPN Family as the man who created Supernatural. Kripke hasn’t worked on The CW series for some time now, but we have followed his career closely. His next project is the Amazon Prime Original, The Boys, a series that now has an official premiere date.
Officially announced today, April 17, The Boys released a new promo along with the release date. It’s set to premiere on July 26, this year.

The Boys, if you haven’t heard about it by now, is a superhero series, unlike anything you have ever seen before. Honestly, I am not just saying that for the sake of it. It really is unlike anything you have seen before.
Based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys shows what happens when superheroes, who are loved by all, abuse their powers. A tale of the powerful vs. the powerless, The Boys, who are the powerless in the Prime Original, attempt to expose The Seven, the superheroes abusing their powers, for who they really are.

The Boys is one of the most highly anticipated TV series of the year, not just on Amazon Prime but the world.We first got a glimpse of it back in 2018 during NYCC. It will be the first series Kripke has directed since his time on Supernatural came to an end.
