All eyes are on the final season of Supernatural. After that post-twist of a finale, what could Billie want with a particular character in Supernatural Season 15?

The Supernatural Season 14 finale certainly delivered a major plot twist. A character we never expected has become, what seems to be, the final Big Bad and we lost one of our favorites. However, all is not completely lost. It seems that Billie has a plan, but why does she need a certain character in Supernatural Season 15?

As you would expect, we’re getting into spoiler territory. I highly recommend watching the finale first but if you can’t or don’t have time, you can check out our recap to find out the events of “Moriah.” Otherwise, proceed with caution.

More from Supernatural

Let’s jump straight into it. The end of the episode left us with Hell literally on Earth. The souls were released and we’re at the beginning of the end.

But not everyone wants that. Billie clearly doesn’t want the entire world to be destroyed. As Death, she gets to see the books of everyone and she’ll know the roles that everyone needs to play in this final season. One of those people (more like beings) is Jack.

God may have killed him but the dead don’t stay dead on this show. Even Death!Billie is willing to bring someone back if necessary, and right now, it’s necessary. She has gone to the Empty to retrieve Jack, telling him they need to talk.

What does Billie want from Jack? Well, it’s likely due to his position as a nephilim. He’ll have the power to help prevent all Hell on Earth, and it’s clear that God is scared of Jack. God wanted the Winchesters to kill Jack, even though he was clearly more powerful than his grandson.

Jack may not have a soul right now, but it can be restored, right? I mean, Death has done some impressive things in the past, including building that wall to allow Sam to have his soul back without it causing him traumatic memories. Could Billie give Jack his soul back? Maybe she could just help Jack live without a soul and still use his powers for good.

Having two of the most powerful beings working together to save the world makes sense. The question I have is whether Billie and Jack will clue the Winchesters in — that’s if they’ll survive the horde of zombies heading their way. I have a feeling Billie may send Jack to the cemetery to help save the Winchesters and Castiel since God definitely won’t pull them out like he saved them in the Season 5 premiere.
