2. Conrad makes a deal with Bell.

Bell is looking to get more money for Chastain and it’s going to be an issue since Diego, his main source, is not interested in anything Bell has to say given he ignored him up until his rich father died. A father who thought Diego was a failure. Ouch. Might Bell have taken a little too much pride in dropping that bombshell?

More from FOX

It turns out, he’s doing wealth screenings – just when you thought he might be growing a soul. Taylor, as in the guy who Mina got entangled with on her wild night out, is the proverbial “whale” Bell has been looking for. He is a recent lottery winner that Bell finesses into becoming a frequent investor in Chastain.

Except, Bell anticipated he would be getting a check for $36 million dollars right off the bat. Instead, the prudent Taylor explains, he’ll get $13,000 dollars a week every year for 30 years because he took his lottery winnings in installments instead of a lump sum. So Bell is back in the hot seat with the board given Chastain is apparently bleeding money.

Or is he? Desperate times call for desperate measures. In a bad to keep Nic out of jail (again), Conard makes a deal with Bell to ensure Jessie will be put on the transplant list early. We don’t get to see what Conrad gave up but I’m assuming it’s his inheritance. There is nothing he won’t do for Nic. And now I’m sad again.
