While there is the need to follow on with the bomber storyline, this is 9-1-1 and that means there will be some one-off calls. We’ll get to see a stunt drive get caught up in a “hairy situation” and a problem for a teenage social influencer. However, the problem is the two mail bombs that go off.

Meanwhile, Eddie is going to face his family in town. This is expected considering the storyline of the last episode. Just as his wife decided to move out and away, she was hit by a car and died in the accident. It was traumatic for Eddie, who was one of the firefighters on the scene, but now he needs to deal with the personal element of the loss.

Then there’s Buck, who is in a life-or-death situation. We’ve got photos that show the fire truck exploding. Will this be part of the mail bomber’s MO? Is this bomber attacking Engine 118 next?
The promo gives us something similar. The bomber is attacking individuals at the 118. At one point, Captain Nash’s home is searched to protect him, but he says they’re searching the wrong house. Will we hav all our first responders still around for the third season?
