Supernatural Season 15: Misha Collins talks about the moment they announced the ending

While at MCM Comic-Con, Misha Collins described what it was like the moment he, Jensen Ackles, and Jared Padalecki announced Supernatural Season 15 would be the list.

When we found out Supernatural Season 15 would be the last, there was a mixture of emtion. We found out from the cast. Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins knew that we needed to hear it from them. But what was it like when they told the crew?

During MCM Comic-Con, Collins shared what it had been like. Yes, there were tears, but there were also some hugs, a lot of love spread around, and plenty of smiles. While it’s ending, it’s ending on their terms – on good terms. And they all knew that all good things would eventually have to come to an end, and that included the Winchesters’ journey that we’ve been on for 14 years and counting.

According to Digital Spy, Collins shared that the moment was sad but it was also a lovely, happy moment. This was a chance for the cast and crew to remain a family. They hugged and cried together, they shared happy memories and moments, and they all shared how much they would miss each other.

It’s not the first time the actors have talked about how the cast and crew is a family. During the CW Upfronts, Jared Padalecki talked about how everyone involved in the show is a family. Those who have wanted to move on have done – and there are no hard feelings – but those who want to stay are welcome. People who want to come back into the fold are also welcome.

Next season will be a bittersweet one. We’ll get one of the greatest seasons yet, with Padalecki and Ackles heavily involved in the creation. This has been a long chapter of everyone’s lives and it’s time to come to an end. We get to celebrate that with them.
