In the Dark Season 1, Episode 11 preview: What happened to Max?
By Mads Lennon
The ending of last week’s In the Dark involved a series of gunshots. What does that mean for Max? Plus, Murphy comes face-to-face with his ex-girlfriend.
Things got super intense and a little weird on last week’s episode of In the Dark. Darnell realized Max set him up. Jess almost hooked up with Felix only to realize she is 100% gay. Nia discovered Max is the snitch that put her behind bars and sent a goon after him to keep him from testifying in court.
When we left off, Murphy was sailing away on a lake at Max’s behest. He didn’t want her caught up in his mess. Poor Murphy was helpless to do anything but paddle, even with the sound of gunshots in the background.

It was an ominous ending to a dark hour of television. This week looks to take a more light-hearted tone. Murphy enlists Jess to help her track down Max, meaning she doesn’t believe he’s dead.
Their trek leads them to the doorstep of Max’s ex-girlfriend, a woman who doesn’t appear to want anything to do with him given she slams the door in their faces.
Good news for fans of Max and Murphy, it doesn’t look like Max is dead, based on a photo The CW released for the episode. I mean, it could be part of a dream sequence or a hug in finality, but let’s think positively!
Here is a quick sneak peek at the episode if you’d like to get a taste of what’s to come!
