The CW has officially announced the premiere dates for its fall shows. Supernatural Season 15 lands the expected October premiere dates.
The fall schedule is out and The CW has now announced its premiere dates for all fall shows. This includes the premiere for Supernatural Season 15.
As expected, the premiere in is October, according to TVLine. In fact, it’s exactly as I expected, with The CW setting Oct. 10 as the Supernatural Season 15 premiere date. This is the exact same week as the last few seasons have premiered — why “fix” something that isn’t broken?

We knew that the show was keeping its Thursday night timeslot. The final season will air at 8 p.m. in the fall, with The Originals‘ spin-off, Legacies, in the hour behind. It’s a full night of fantasy and monsters.
What’s interesting is that the network hasn’t decided to use Supernatural as a way to introduce other new shows to the network. Last year, All American and Charmed got an encore of their series premieres after the Winchester brothers to help boost the audience. Legacies was held off for a few weeks. This fall, Legacies Season 2 premieres at the same time as every other show, with the Batwoman and Nancy Drew encores happening on other nights to build up the audiences.
This isn’t a bad thing for the Winchester brothers. It just means the network knows that fans of SPN aren’t necessarily going to tune in for Batwoman (which is getting encores after other Arrowverse shows, which makes more sense) or Nancy Drew (which is getting an encore after similarly-themed series, Riverdale).
Now we have an end date to Hellatus in sight, though. We’ll start getting answers to many of our questions in just less than four months.
