Everything coming to and leaving Netflix in July 2019
Netflix will see the arrival of many popular Originals and third-party content. However, we’re also saying goodbye to some big movies and shows. Here’s everything coming to and leaving Netflix in July 2019.
Stranger Things, Wynonna Earp, and The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants all have one thing in common. They’re on the list of shows coming to Netflix in July 2019. There are plenty of exciting new arrivals but also some notable exits during the month.
We have to mention Stranger Things Season 3, though. Fans have waited a long time for the arrival of this due to it being moved to a summer release instead of the tail end of 2018. The great news is that you’ll get to binge watch all the episodes. Let’s just hope it’s not unceremoniously canceled like so many other Netflix Originals after three seasons lately.

Wynonna Earp Season 3 is also coming to the streaming service. We’re still waiting for news on the fourth season on SYFY, which would usually happen this time of the year but the financial problems with IDW has put the show on hold, but at least we get the full third season to binge-watch!
It’s also worth mentioning the arrival of Designated Survivor: 60 Days. This will follow the format of the original story but there’s a Korean focus. When an explosion at the National Assembly kills the Cabinet of politicians, Park Mu-jin finds himself as the acting president for the next 60 days. Within that time, he wants to figure out who committed the attack on his colleagues.
For the families, 3Below: Tales of Arcadia Part 2 will also be on the streaming service. I can definitely say this and Epic Tales of Captain Underpants are shows I’m excited to see, just to have new episodes playing!
As for the notable exits, The Matrix trilogy is leaving. While the last movie was just terrible, the first movie has become a cult classic and I’m sure you’ll want to watch it again before it’s no longer available to stream through Netflix.
While The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants has new episodes arriving, the movie Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is leaving the streaming service. Your kids (and you, of course) may want to watch it again before July 10.
July also sees the exit of all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars. This isn’t all that surprising considering it’s a Freeform show and ABC/Freeform shows are heading to Disney+ (or Hulu depending on the main target audience).
