Supernatural: What characters are returning in Season 15?
The 15th and final season of Supernatural will bring back some familiar faces — including some long-lost characters. Who’s coming back?
As Supernatural hits the impressive 15th season, there are bound to be characters that will return. We even got John back last season. In the final season, there are a few loose ends and the writers will work on resolving them while also bringing back some familiar faces.
At San Diego Comic-Con, the executive producers revealed who some of those characters are, TV Line reported. One person who was always likely to return was Rowena. You can’t keep a bad witch — who is sometimes good — down.
In addition, it was revealed Eileen Leahy, played by Shoshannah Stern, will also return. Eileen was last seen in Season 12 when she was killed by a hellhound. Her and Sam bonded, and at the time it seemed they could be something a little more than friends.

Of course, we have no idea how she will return since she is dead, but that’s never stopped anyone from coming back on Supernatural.
To me, the biggest news was around the return of Adam, played by Jake Abel. In nearly 10 seasons, Adam has been the biggest loose end especially considering how easy the writers have brought back past characters.
Adam wound up in the cage with Michael when he became the archangel’s vessel in Season 5. And he’s been there ever since. There were no details around his return either, but it’s one that many fans have been hoping for.
However, it does make you think about how Adam will appear. Was Adam released from the cage when Chuck seemingly let everything out of Hell? It’s definitely a possibility and one we will have to wait to find out.
Supernatural Season 15 premieres October 15.
