Ready for October 2019? You should be! Because Netflix is gifting us all with many movies and TV shows, here are 10 not to miss!

As you already know, each month is an exciting time for Netflix subscribers as the streaming giant rolls out new content. Though many of the shows and movies receive surprise releases, Netflix does debut a list of most TV shows and movies we can expect to see in the coming month. September brought us some great content, but I’d say the best is yet to come this October!

Which series and movies were your favorite in September? Do you know if they will be returning next year with a second season or sequel? If not, there’s no time to worry about it, new shows and movies are on the way to keep you distracted. And with the binge model Netflix has, you can take your time watching or view all episodes in one sitting.

In the Tall Grass: Ready for some horror and thrills? It is October, time for some spooky content! Based on the novel by Stephen King and Joe Hill, In the Tall Grass follows Becky and Cal hear noises coming from a field, but they aren’t able to see anything due to the tall grass. It becomes clear that they noises are the cries of a young boy, so they set out to help him. They become separated by the tall grass and “soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found.” Stream it on Netflix Oct. 4!

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie: Two words — Jesse Pinkman! Breaking Bad  continues to be one of the best shows of all-time. It may never be dethrone. So when Netflix announced a movie that will explore what happened to Jesse Pinkman since we last saw him, fans couldn’t have been happier and more excited. Will you be watching? Be sure to tune in Oct. 11, it’ll also star Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Charles Newirth, Diane Mercer and, of course, Aaron Paul.

Fractured: This is one of the movies coming in October I’m most excited about! It just seems full of thrills without being crossing over to horror. The movie follows Ray Monroe (Sam Worthington) and his family, wife Joanne (Lily Rabe) and daughter Peri (Lucy Capri), returning from a vacation. On the road, they have an accident and are rushed to the hospital, where they never come out of. When Ray, who isn’t as hurt, asks for his wife and daughter, everyone tells him they don’t know what or who he is talking about. It’s as if they vanished from existence. Find out what happened Ray’s family on Oct. 11, only on Netflix.

The Laundromat: Meryl Streep gifts Netflix with a performance as Ellen Martin, who is investigating a fake insurance policy. This unassuming case takes Ellen down a rabbit hole that may be bigger than she initially anticipated and into the world of corruption. The movie also stars Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas. The movie stream on Netflix Oct. 18.

Eli: A young boy, Eli (Charlie Shotwell), is suffering from an illness no doctor or expert can get to the bottom of. He is forced to live in isolation after exhausting every other option. With no other choice, his parents put their trust and Eli’s life on the hands of a doctor known to conduct sketchy experiments. This movie is packed with mystery and you may walk out of it with severe trust issues on Oct. 18, only on Netflix.
