- The Winchesters Season1 finale explained: Did it connect to Supernatural?
Last season ended with the Dean, Sam, Castiel and Jack in a cemetery with demons, ghosts, and plenty of the baddies they have sent to Hell coming back to seemingly exact revenge. Chuck revealed that Dean and Sam’s lives were always just a game to him.
Turns out Chuck isn’t really that nice of a God. In fact, he seems like a downright jerk, which actually goes with the theme of Supernatural – and what they kind of thought about Chuck anyway. All the heartache and losses were all orchestrated by Chuck. Even though Dean and Sam are Team Free Will, Chuck has made it seem there is no such thing as free will.
That may kind of be the case, but Dean took a shot at Chuck. Yet, being all knowing, he managed to stop the bullet headed for him. Instead, it angered him and then he released his wrath on the Winchesters.
Yet, if you thought that was the only issue, you haven’t been watching Supernatural for nearly 15 years. Jack is incapacitated, but there is the issue of his missing soul and the fact that he killed Mary. There is also the problem with Dean and Castiel being at odds.
One thing we know for sure about Supernatural’s final season is that we are going to be in for a heck of a ride. Here’s the synopsis for Supernatural Season 15, Episode 1, “Back and to the Future:”
"Picking up where we left off last season, Sam, Dean and Castiel are left to defend the world after all the souls in hell have been released and are back on Earth and free to kill again."
Tune in to Supernatural on Thursdays at 8/7c on the CW.
