Supernatural conventions will continue after the show finishes

Worried about not being able to get to a Supernatural convention before the show finishes? There will be time afterward. Creation Ent isn’t going anywhere.

When the Supernatural stars announced that Season 15 would be the last, many fans quickly looked at the closest Creation Ent convention to them to book tickets. If you couldn’t find one close to you, there is still a chance that you’ll get to go.

While at SPN Tor 2019, the question about the future of the cons was brought up. Fans wanted to know if the cons would continue and all the stars would still be there. Many confirmed that the conventions weren’t going anywhere for now, although there will be fewer than there have been in the past.

We already have a list of 2020 conventions and there are some being added to that as we speak. Ruth Connell shared that she would have a new gig within the conventions next year, while Rob Benedict, Jared Padalecki, and Jensen Ackles confirmed that they would still love to keep doing the cons.

However, they’re not going to continue forever, and they may not be in the exact same form in late 2020 and 2021. Filming schedules will change considerably. Jared Padalecki has already signed up for the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot and that could take up some of his weekends when he’d be at a Creation Ent con should the show be picked up to series next year.

Yet, as long as there is an interest in the conventions, Creation Ent will continue to put them on. After all, it’s a business, right?
