The Winchesters are scared of God, but they need to focus on the new case. Here are the top takeaways from the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 6 promo.

After finding out that God had brought back a particular demon in the previous episode, the Winchesters realize they’re up against something major. And there’s a chance they won’t win. But before they can even focus on that, the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 6 promo gives us a hint of the next case they have.

We’ll break down the promo in this post. There isn’t too much to go on, but there are some interesting points. Will they give us some sort of clue as to how this will all end? Probably not, but it’s still going to be fun to speculate.

Here’s a look at the promo and synopsis for “Golden Time,” before getting into the breakdown. After this, we’ll be entering spoilery territory for some of you (I know some class trailers as spoilers). You have been warned.

"Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are visited by an old friend. Castiel (Misha Collins) investigates the disappearance of a local teen."

5. A sense of deja vu?

More from Supernatural

Got a sense of deja vu looking at one of the actresses? The one playing the main witch will certainly seem familiar to Supernatural fans. She’s been in two episodes before.

Keegan Connor Tracy was Karen Giles in the Season 2 episode “The Usual Suspects.” She then played Sera Seige in the Season 4 episode “The Monster at the End of This Book.” Now she’s back for another episode.

You’ll also recognize her from many other fantasy shows, including Once Upon a Time and The Magicians. Oh, and she’s Belle in the Descendants movies.

4. It’s all about witches and ghosts

It’s clear that this episode is all about witches. I bet there’s going to be a mention of Rowena during the episode. There better be!

But that doesn’t seem like the only creature the Winchesters will go up against. There’s a sound of a ghost during the Supernatural Season 15, Episode 6 promo. So, do we have both?

3. Castiel has a case of his own

Castiel is back! After two weeks of not being in the show, he’s going to be in this episode with a case of his own. Will it remain a case of his own?

Castiel has been ignoring texts from Sam recently. That’s not all that surprising, although I feel for Sam since it wasn’t Sam who kicked Castiel out. Regardless, the Winchesters need to get a message to Castiel that God is still around and causing trouble. Could this episode see everyone come back together?

Probably not. Jensen Ackles recently shared at a con that we’ll see Dean pray to Castiel in Episode 9. Looks like we’re still a bit away from Team Free Will getting back together.

2. Is that Eileen back?

Various characters are coming back. One of those we knew would be Eileen. Will she be back during this episode?

There’s a flash of a girl in water. It looks like this could be Eileen. That would certainly explain why Sam would rush in to help someone without Dean. It would also explain why Sam is the one being tortured. He was the one with the connection to Eileen.

The synopsis does tell us that the Winchesters are visited by an old friend. Eileen makes sense, right?

1. Dean saving Sam again?

It’s a common theme throughout Supernatural. Sam becomes the damsel in distress and it’s Dean who has to save him. The writers continually give us this storyline, despite the fact that we ask for something different. Just once. Just give us something different once—and the last episode doesn’t count because Dean got himself in trouble for Sam.

Anyway, it looks like the writers still aren’t listening. What else is new? It looks like this episode will have Dean needing to save Sam yet again.
