9-1-1 Season 3, Episode 9 will see a threat like no other when a tunnel runs the risk of becoming a Chernobyl-level threat. Here’s how to watch live.
After a week off, 9-1-1 returns with an all-new episode. We have two left before the winter hiatus and the writers aren’t slowing down. In 9-1-1 Season 3, Episode 9, there’s a threat like no other when a tunnel runs the risk of becoming a threat like Chernobyl.
Yes, you read that right. In the promo, the levels of gamma radiation go up. That’s going to put everyone at risk as nobody is protected against the threats of the radiation. But how could this happen in one tunnel? We can thank the crash of a hazardous waste truck inside that tunnel.

While that’s the focus of the promo, it’s not the only call-out of the episode. The 118 will need to head out to an apartment building that has had a meteor shower crash into it. You would think the writers had run out of crazy situations over the last few years, but it’s clear there are still more to come!
As all this happens, you’ll notice that Hen isn’t anywhere around. She’s off the job for the time being, as she deals with the aftermath of the ambulance crash. The last we saw, she’d crashed into the side of a young woman, causing that young woman’s death.
Right now, let’s forget about placing blame. The investigators are going to have to look at all the evidence and they won’t have seen the story from the young woman’s point of view. They just have the footage, so this isn’t going to be a cut-and-dry case. Plus, the facts won’t change the guilt Hen feels.
