Airing on Dec. 12, this is going to be the last episode of the year. It’s the fall finale, and we’ll have to wait until January to find out what’s to come. I have a feeling we’ll end with the Winchesters and Castiel coming face-to-face with God.

After all, the synopsis makes it clear that all three are on the same page. They want to defeat God, but they know they can’t do this alone. It’s going to mean teaming up with others.

The three will turn to unlikely allies. Does this mean Jack and Billie are coming back for the episode? Will we see a few returning faces like Michael or Adam from the cage? What about Lucifer awoken from the Empty? There are plenty of angels and demons who will likely view God as more of an enemy than the Winchesters. And the enemy of an enemy is a friend, right?

Check out the synopsis for Season 15, Episode 8, titled “Our Father, Who Aren’t In Heaven.”

"GOD BLESSES HIM WHO HELPS HIS BROTHER – Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel’s (Misha Collins) continued search for a way to defeat Chuck (guest star Rob Benedict) leads them to unexpected places and toward unlikely allies."

This is another episode directed by the awesome Richard Speight Jr. The episode was written by Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner.
