Conrad found himself under threat of being fired in The Resident Season 3, Episode 9. What happened to him at the deposition?

The Resident Season 3, Episode 9 brought back a patient we knew would be a threat. It all linked back to earlier in the season, when Conrad tortured him to get answers. While it saved a life, it was a questionable action with Devin deciding that it was the wrong call. So, when it came to the deposition, we knew that it was going to come down to Devin’s testimony.

Would he lie under oath or would he be the nail in the coffin for Conrad? Would he accidentally help Red Rock fire one of the best residents Chastain has?

More from FOX

Had it been any other day, Devin would have likely chosen the route of turning Conrad in. He hasn’t agreed with Conrad’s decision from the start. And he went as far to be requested to move onto another resident’s service because of his feelings over the matter. However, something changed in Episode 9.

Devin had the chance to experience how you would do anything to save a life. He saw just how great Conrad was at his job, and learned that sometimes you will make allowances or do things that you wouldn’t think originally you would have done. It’s all a matter of who you believe is in the right.

And so, in the deposition, it wasn’t that surprising to see Devin choose Conrad. He lied under oath, and it looks like nobody believes that he could have perjured himself. So, that means this case is closed.

However, it means something far worse. Red Rock still wants Conrad gone, viewing him as a whistleblower after finding out the truth about the drug that was killing people. Cain doesn’t trust Conrad, and it’s clear that Cain, is accounting sidekick, and Red Rock are going to be out for blood. Now they’ve removed Bell as CEO (he still works at the hospital, though) and it’s only a matter of time before there are more hassles for Conrad and the rest of the doctors and nurses at Chastain.

What will everyone do? They’re all going to need to work together if they want to take down Red Rock.
