It was not a good night for new episodes of TV shows. The Good Doctor returned from winter break down and Manifest slipped further. Here are the Monday TV ratings.

Some nights just aren’t great for TV, and Jan. 13 was one of those nights. Anything that aired a new episode saw downward slips in the TV ratings. What does this mean for the shows?

The Good Doctor returned from its winter break with a 9% fall in the demo and a 17% fall in the total audience. While it was still the highest in the timeslot, it was still a way off the usual results.

But that was following the 18% fall in the demo and 9% fall in the total audience from The Bachelor. The demo was the best of the night, but it was still disappointing for the reality program.

With both shows dropping so much, I don’t think there’s too much to be concerned about. ABC will see that there was something going on overall.

NBC was the only other network to air new episodes of shows. While we’re still waiting for FOX and The CW to bring shows back from break, CBS opted for reruns of all programming this week.

Sadly, NBC also struggled, with America’s Got Talent losing 26% of its demo and 19% of its total audience. The audience was the highest of the night, but a concerning slip in the figures.

Manifest‘s second episode of Season 2 also saw big drops, losing 22% of the demo and 24% of the audience. This isn’t surprising considering the slips that AGT: The Champions saw. We’ll have to keep an eye on subsequent weeks to see if the shows will be renewed.
