A show with proposals after a few days is guaranteed to have issues. Giannina’s red flags, however, go above and beyond even the Love is Blind insanity.

Even for the most optimistic among us, there comes a time to recognize the complete insanity behind Love is Blind. People who barely know each other are isolated together, left to do nothing but flirt, bond, and revel in the anonymity. And at the end of the experience (or somewhere in the middle) they are supposed to propose to someone they’ve never seen.

Let’s get to the red flags.

1. MFer

How quick she was to go from 0 to 100 is alarming. The emotional connection between her and Damian is there, but the emotional intelligence disconnect is a chasm. She is prone to extreme outbursts over virtually nothing, and drags Damian, who is otherwise a very calm communicator, down with her.

Make no mistake, their argument in front of the other couples had two major red flags. First, she was so willing to raise her voice and make a scene in public. Who cares if Love is Blind is a reality television show. That’s just not something a well-balanced person does in such a trivial situation. Second, she was extremely quick to call Damian a MFer. Psycho much?

2. The Boat Argument

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Giannina is a girlfriend who looks for an issue when there isn’t one. The boat argument is a perfect example. Damian says the show, and particularly the vacation aspect, is a great break from reality. Of course, she turns it into an issue. Newsflash to Giannina: Most people go on vacation because it’s a break from reality, and that doesn’t guarantee some massive issue back home requiring a therapist.

No wonder just about everyone pegged her as the runaway bride; she looks for problems where there aren’t any.
