9-1-1 Season 3 is coming to an end. The story will be told over the course of two episodes, and it all starts tonight. Here’s how to watch the first half of the 9-1-1 Season 3 finale live.

It’s the highly anticipated return of Connie Britton tonight. She’s on a train as it crashes, and she will be the one to make a call to emergency services. Fortunately, she’s able to remain calm and focused, giving all the information that the dispatchers will need to know.

But that’s not all that will happen. We’ll see a man trapped in a walk-in freezer, a young girl in a hot air balloon that flies away, and a tree trimmer truck is hijacked. It’s just a normal day for the 118, right?

Then there’s Athena’s storyline. In the promo, we see her beaten, but this doesn’t look connected to the train crash.

Athena’s storyline is likely linked to the previous episode. Hands up if you think she’s going to take it upon herself to look for the serial rapist that she came across during the previous episode? It makes sense considering she almost had him. She shouldn’t blame herself for his release, but she’s going to want to do everything she can to keep other women safe.

My betting is the train crash will happen toward the end of the episode. It will then be up to the 118 to help those involved, making it the biggest episode of the season yet. And that’s saying something considering the tsunami episode at the start of the season.
