Critical acclaim: Despite not pulling in a large budget, the Chris Pratt movie has been one of the most beloved by fans and critics alike. It also gained a number of award nominations, mostly for the movie and lead actor Denzel Washington.

About the role: Chris Pratt plays Chris Faraday, who loves to gamble and is a huge fans of explosives. It sounds like a very standard Chris Pratt role, right?

Why it’s the best: Let’s start by saying that this was Pratt’s first time in a Western, but that’s not something you’d immediately know when watching. He fits right into the setting and the role, showing that this was something he was born to do.

At the same time, he holds his own up against actors who have been in the job longer than him. It was never going to be easy to stand out against the greatness of Denzel Washington, but Pratt manages it. We need to see him do more like this.
