Selena + Chef and 5 other Selena Gomez projects to stream
These next three projects are perfect for fans of Selena’s time at Disney.
It’d be a travesty to not feature Selena Gomez’s Disney projects on this list. Disney is where most of us were introduced to her. Most famously, she’s known for portraying Alex Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place. Following a family of wizards, Alex was the smart-mouthed middle sister who was equal parts charming and annoying. The character was played to perfection by Selena, though.
Currently, Disney Plus has the entire series to stream. In addition, the two movies: Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie and The Wizards Return: Alex vs Alex are also on there. If you’re new to being a Selena fan, it should be a rite of passage to watch Wizards of Waverly Place. The show might be a little cheesy but it’s still fun.

Another Disney project Selena starred in was Princess Protection Program. This one features Selena and her then-best friend, Demi Lovato as they bond despite coming from completely different backgrounds.
You can tell how much fun the two had while filming and the movie features a pretty catchy song. Once again, might be a little cheesy for viewers who haven’t watched in years but is worth the rewatch.
Last but not least is one that is small but worth mentioning. Selena Gomez appeared in 2011’s The Muppets. In the film, she’s featured as one of the possible talents for their telethon. It’s a small cameo but one you might miss if you’re not looking closely. If you’re a fan of Selena’s time at Disney, then Disney Plus has you covered. If not, then the next two entries might be more your speed.
