A preview of things to come from the Supernatural cast and EPs at PaleyFest 2020

Despite conventions not happening, PaleyFest has found a way to come to us. The Supernatural cast and showrunners will take to Zoom for a virtual panel, and we have a preview of what to expect.

Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Alexander Calvert, Bob Singer, and Andrew Dabb all take to Zoom to discuss the series. What will they talk about in the panel? While we’re not giving everything away, we will give a tease of what to expect.

The panel will be available to stream from 8 p.m. ET on Yahoo Entertainment. You can also check out all the other PaleyFest 2020 panels.

There’s a focus on filming the final weeks of Supernatural

When the coronavirus pandemic started, Supernatural had just two episodes to go. They wouldn’t get a chance to roll into Season 16, the way other shows have rolled their storylines into the next seasons. Instead, they needed to find a way to get back to filming to bring the series finale fans deserve.

More from Supernatural

That happened before other shows returned. Supernatural was the show that paved the way for returning productions, giving everyone a look at how to do things. And the pressure was on. There was no way anyone wanted production to be shut down for two weeks.

That’s something the stars talk about during the panel. It’s not just about their show, but about other shows out there.

And, of course, there’s a discussion about how the actors are feeling now that the series is done. Many fans have been worried about how Padalecki will cope, but I think you’ll smile when you hear his response.

What to expect in the final episodes

We have four more episodes left of Supernatural. The cast and showrunners did discuss a few things about the upcoming episodes, although most of the focus of the panel is about filming and the feeling of everyone now.

Singer teases a little about the series finale, which had an extra day of shooting to mark the occasion. Expect an intimate episode that is all about the guys.

Jensen Ackles also shares a little about how the ending is the one he has always come back to when he’s thought about how it would end for the Winchesters. Will that be a happy or sad ending?

Oh, and you’ll want to listen out for a message from Eric Kripke to J2.
