After an intense two-hour opener, Bravo Team (and us) has to adjust to the new normal on SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3. It is not going to be easy.
During the previous episode, Jason Hayes decided it was time to step back as Bravo 1. He needs to know who he is as Jason Hayes. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but it was a necessary one.

At the same time, Cerberus retired after the team acknowledged he’s suffering from combat stress and PTSD (and so is Dita, so it was only right Cerberus was written out), and Ray found out he was off to Warrant Officer training.
There are a lot of changes in Bravo Team, and everyone needs to adjust to this new normal. We’ll pick up a few weeks after the big reveal, with Bravo Team getting used to the new team and new leader, while Jason gets used to his new life. He’s not a civilian but has moved to more of a desk job.

What to expect on SEAL Team Season 4, Episode 3
So, what is to come during the episode? There isn’t much to go off, except that the team will head on a new mission with a new leader. The team isn’t working as well as it once did, and Jason is the one who thinks he can figure out how to help.
Does that mean Jason will return? Probably not right away. He needs some time to figure out who he is as a person. And it looks like he’s the one looking after a now-civilian Cerberus.
We will get to meet Pepper, the new member of Bravo Team. And we may see Ray spend a little time at home with his family.
