The Big East had a great showing for the 2023 NCAA Tournament. There are five Big East teams headed to the big dance and competing for the National Championship, led by the Big East regular season champion and conference tournament champion, the Marquette Golden Eagles.

Marquette is a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and with the way they’re playing right now, they’re looking like they are poised to make a deep run and make the Final Four. The UConn Huskies, who lost to Marquette in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament, are the highest-rated Big East team in Kenpom from the Big East. They’re ranked No. 4 in Kenpom, which is eight spots higher than Marquette.

If you want a sneaky pick to go to the Final Four out of the Big Each, it’s going to be UConn. I really like their path. They meet Iona in the first round, and then could match up with St. Mary’s and Kansas in the next rounds. They are very underrated in my opinion.

Xavier, Creighton, and Providence also made the field.

Here is the full March Madness bracket.

Big East teams in the 2023 NCAA Tournament

  • Marquette Golden Eagles (2-seed)
  • Xavier Musketeers (3-seed)
  • UConn Huskies (4-seed)
  • Creighton Bluejays (6-seed)
  • Providence Friars (11-seed)

The Big East tied the ACC for teams in the tournament with five teams each, which was one more than the Pac-12. It was quite a bit lower than the number of teams that the Big Ten, SEC, and Big 12 got in the field, though.

You can watch the NCAA Tournament on a variety of live-streaming platforms, including FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, YouTube TVSling TV, and more. If you’re going to be watching all five of the Big East teams in this year’s tournament, you’re going to want to know when. We’ll share more information as the schedule is released.
