Bold and the Beautiful spoiler: Hope pursues Finn during the Young and the Restless crossover

It looks like nothing is going to keep Hope from pursuing men that are very much committed to the women they're with on The Bold and the Beautiful. Last time there was grace because she loves Thomas and, admittedly, his romance with Paris was moving at lightning speed. But, since Hope still wasn't ready to marry him, her point was rendered moot as they're still on different pages about their future.

There are, however, no excuses to be made for why she continues to test the waters with Dr. John Finnegan, Steffy's husband and President of her fan club. The good doctor couldn't be any more smitten if Cupid himself shot him with an arrow, he is that obviously in love with his wife and down bad. It's what many of the Sinn shippers like most about him.

For some reason, even though there's plenty of evidence to the contrary right in front of her, Hope's convinced that Finn isn't happy in his marriage and should be with a woman who appreciates him. She's cast herself in that role but when she threw it at him, he threw it back in a moment that left even Hope fans shaking their heads in embarrassment for her.

You'd think that would slow Hope down and have her think about her choices, but she isn't done trying to see if Finn might be interested in her. To be clear, he's told her in no uncertain terms that he loves Steffy but Hope isn't hearing him for some reason. It's led many a fan to wonder if there might be something medically wrong with her. Potentially a blood clot? But I digress.

Right now, the facts are that she's determined to cut Steffy "down to size" and she seems to want to use Finn to do it. So much so that she may be willing to make a play for him when the family is celebrating Brooke at the Forrester Mansion due to the success of Brooke's Bedroom relaunch. This also happens to be during The Young and the Restless crossover with Danny Romalotti and Christine Blair joining the festivities.

As the above photo shows, at some point during the gathering, Hope and Finn have a moment by the stairwell. A picture can say a thousand words and this one looks to be pointing out that whatever Hope's telling Finn or whatever action she took wasn't at all welcome. He looks alarmed and his hands are flexed in a way the suggests he'd like distance from her.

In contrast, Sinn also share a moment alone and they're holding hands. Finn's jaw looks clenched with emotion so he's either giving Steffy another loving speech about their bond or she may have walked up on that scene with Hope and he's reassuring her. If it's the latter, the least of Hope's concerns is going to be that line of hers which Steffy has threatened to close or scale back more than once.

The soiree is going to be a two parter that starts on Tuesday, Aug. 13. It looks like an event we won't want to miss. Stay tuned to Hidden Remote for more coverage and follow us on X.
