We are heading into 2024 and are ready for our favorite networks to begin airing new episodes of the shows that we have been missing! One such network is CBS, which boasts plenty of television for viewers to enjoy, especially if you are into crime dramas. With shows such as NCIS, SWAT, Blue Bloods, and more, you will have countless options at your fingertips once February, 2024 comes around.
Now that we’re only a month away from many of these classic shows returning, it’s time to get ready to get back into television viewing mode. There are so many amazing shows to watch when they all air once again, but these are just some of the ones that we’re most excited for, especially with how they left off in previous seasons.
Luckily, all of these shows are available on Paramount+ so you can watch past episodes in order to catch up on previous seasons. Now let's go over the 5 must watch crime dramas on CBS in February, 2024.
21 seasons in and we’re still looking forward to solving cases with the NCIS agents we’ve come to know and love. With season 20 ending on a cliffhanger involving Nick Torres and already knowing we’ll be saying goodbye to the beloved M.E. Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, we’re already expecting to be thrown right into the season alongside the characters. New episodes of NCIS will begin on Monday, Feb. 12 at 9/8c.
After FBI concluded its exciting season finale, it’s been a waiting game to see what Maggie, OA, and the rest of the agents have been up to since we last saw them. Plus, with the news that actress Shantel VanSanten who plays Agent Nina Chase, would be moving to the spin-off FBI: International, we’re excited to see just how this new change will affect Agent Stuart Scola, especially since they just had a son together. The new season kicks off on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 8/7c.
After over a decade of airing on CBS, the police procedural Blue Bloods starring Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg will be coming to an end. However, we’ll still be able to enjoy them for the final 14th season, which will be split up into two parts. The first part of the season will begin airing on Friday, Feb. 16 with the second part airing in the fall of 2024.
Max Thieriot’s role on Fire Country as Bode Donovan, a prisoner who joins a firefighting program in exchange for a shorter sentence, captivated audiences and will be returning for a second season on Friday, Feb. 16 at 9/8c.
SWAT almost didn’t get to have a final season, but fan reactions to the news, as well as series star Shemar Moore, led CBS to give the series one last season before its final run. When the series returns on Friday, Feb. 16 at 8/7c, fans will be able to watch Hondo and the rest of the crew for the final 13 episodes of the series. You definitely won’t want to miss the final installment of the series, especially since it could end with a wedding!
