San Diego Comic-Con 2024 is being referred to by many attendees as the first "normal" year since 2019 because of the pandemic and industry strikes affecting the convention in past years. And now that the full 2024 schedule is here, we're excited to see just how much great television programming is coming to the con!

Here are 7 of the television panels were most excited to see at SDCC this year and what you can expect to learn about each of the series. If you'll be following along on social media for your favorite show's panel, remember that all times below are in local time for San Diego Comic-Con, which is Pacific Standard Time.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Panel: Thursday, July 25 from 2:15 pm - 3:15 pm in Hall H

Fans of Percy Jackson and the Olympians are in for a double treat this summer with the series having panels at both SDCC in July and at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in August. At Comic-Con, the series is making its debut in the biggest hall at the convention center: Hall H! Will they fill the entire 6,500-person room? We think they'll get pretty close!

Disney promises "an epic panel filled with behind-the-scenes stories and secrets from set", and we hope they're bringing a giveaway for attendees too. The panelists include Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Jonathan E. Steinberg, and Dan Shotz. Expect lots of conversation that reflects on the first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, along with a fan Q&A, and maybe a few small teases about what's to come in season 2.

Dexter: Original Sin

Panel: Friday, July 26 from 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm in Ballroom 20

Dexter fans, unite! I'm so glad to see that Dexter: Original Sin is having a panel because we don't know much about this series yet, and there is lots to learn! This panel is the most teaser-y one on our list, and you can absolutely expect exciting announcements (and hopefully some clips) from the creative team.

The panelists for Dexter: Original Sin include showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, executive producer Scott Reynolds, and cast members Christian Slater, Patrick Gibson, and Molly Brown. The official panel description promises the panelists will share "what to expect from the new series and unveil a few exciting surprises."

Holes Are Bad
“Holes Are Bad” – When Sam and Jay leave the ghosts home alone for the weekend in an attempt to have a romantic getaway, shocking revelations are made about two of Woodstone’s beloved spirits, on the CBS Original series GHOSTS, Thursday, April 18 (8:31-9:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. /

Ghosts

Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am in Ballroom 20

Ghosts had its first in-person panel at SDCC in 2022, and we're so glad the series is returning to Ballroom 20 for another panel ahead of Ghosts season 4! Ghosts had a fun presence on the exhibit floor last year (where fans could enter Woodstone Manor and find out if they had been sucked off), but because of the SAG strike, there was not a panel for the series in 2023.

The panel for Ghosts will be back in Ballroom 20 and though it's not in the official panel description, CBS has confirmed that panelists will include stars Utkarsh Ambudkar, Richie Moriarty, Román Zaragoza, and Rebecca Wisocky, and executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman. CBS promises a “spirited” panel conversation discussing the season 3 cliffhanger and upcoming reveals for what's ahead in season 4.

Superman & Lois

Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 11:15 am - 12:15 pm in Hall H

Hall H is the place to be on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, and they're kicking things off right with a debut panel for Superman & Lois ahead of its final season! Gone are the days when WBTV brought 15-20 shows to SDCC (I miss those days so much!), but we're very glad to see that this series is being given the attention it deserves with a Saturday Hall H panel.

The Superman & Lois panel is being described as a "special video presentation" along with a Q&A, and even though that language usually means a screening of the first episode of the upcoming season, The CW has clarified that the video presentation for this panel will be the series' official teaser trailer. Panelists include Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, along with several executive producers.

JANELLE JAMES
ABBOTT ELEMENTARY - "Smith Playground" - Jacob manages to pull off a schoolwide field trip to the park; however, when Abbott must share the playground, the fun and games turn competitive. Elsewhere, Mr. Johnson enjoys having an empty school to himself. WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 (9:00-9:32 p.m. EDT) on ABC. (DISNEY/Gilles Mingasson)JANELLE JAMES /

Abbott Elementary

Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm in Indigo Ballroom

It's been a long time coming for Abbott Elementary to have a live, in-person panel at SDCC, and 2024 is finally the year when it happens! The panel was virtual in 2022, and because of the SAG strike in 2023, the show had yet to have an in-person panel at the convention. Expect Indigo Ballroom to be a full house!

Comic-Con and ABC have announced that panelists will include Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, William Stanford Davis and Sheryl Lee Ralph, along with executive producers Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Randall Einhorn and Brian Rubenstein. This is a large panel that's been advertised as a behind-the-scenes look at the series, but we also expect there to be a few teases about what's to come on the upcoming season.

NATHAN FILLION, LISSETH CHAVEZ, JENNA DEWAN
THE ROOKIE - ÒStrike BackÓ - In the aftermath of the assaults in the explosive season five finale, the team must now try to understand why they were targeted and if there is a bigger plan in place. Meanwhile, Nolan must survive his last shift before his wedding to Bailey. TUESDAY, FEB. 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (Disney/Raymond Liu) NATHAN FILLION, LISSETH CHAVEZ, JENNA DEWAN /

The Rookie

Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 1:45 pm - 2:45 pm in Indigo Ballroom

The Rookie has a tradition of participating at SDCC every year, but 2024 is an especially exciting time for fans of The Rookie because the show hasn't had a live in-person panel since 2019! The show's seventh season likely isn't coming to ABC until early 2025, but we're still hopeful that the cast and creative team will have fun teases to share with fans about what happens next.

The panelists coming to the Indigo Ballroom include Nathan Fillion, Mekia Cox, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, Shawn Ashmore and Lisseth Chavez. We're looking forward to welcoming them back to the convention, and we expect the room to be close to capacity!

Tracker

Panel: Saturday, July 27 from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm in Indigo Ballroom

The surprise hit drama series Tracker is coming to SDCC after its first season to celebrate the series and talk about what's to come for Colter Shaw in season 2. This is the smallest panel on our list because it will only feature Justin Hartley and executive producer Elwood Reid, but fans of the series should put it at the top of their list. And if you're following along from home, keep an eye on social media for updates during this time!
