General Hospital: Port Charles says goodbye to Nathan West-How will Maxie hold up?

Nathan West’s life was cut short and now his family and friends will be saying their farewells to him on a special heartbreaking episode.

It’s going to be a sad day on General Hospital this Friday as Det. Nathan West will be laid to rest. Maxie is obviously devastated to lose her husband and the father of her baby, but she will have plenty of support from Mac, Felicia, and the rest of her friends and family in Port Charles. For viewers, this will be a heart wrenching day as well.

Goodbye, Nathan

It will be tough to watch as Maxie says her goodbyes to her husband. In the promo video that General Hospital sent out on social media, she is standing by his coffin saying that she doesn’t know how to say goodbye. Naxie was a fan-favorite couple. Nathan and Maxie seemed to compliment each other perfectly. Now that he is gone, she will have to go on without her soul mate.

The rest of Port Charles will grieve with her. He will have a hero’s funeral with the PCPD honoring his memory and his dedication. It looks like this is what brings Valerie Spencer back on screen as she is seen in the clip. There is no word yet on how much air time she will have at this point. She may just be seen for the funeral.

Poor Dante is beside himself after losing his partner and BFF. He and Nathan got to be best friends as they fought crime together. He is taking it quite hard.

Mac and Felicia are holding Maxie up through this tragedy. They are seen sitting beside her, but

there are others who will be there to say their goodbyes. Of course, Nina and Liesl are taking their loss really hard as expected. According to General Hospital spoilers by Soap Central, Franco will be seeking out Liesl to help her as she grieves for her son. Liz is also there for support, despite how she feels about Dr. Obrecht.

Sam, Drew, and Curtis will be there, as well as Griffin, Anna, and Robin. Robin didn’t know Nathan very well, as she mentioned on Tuesday’s episode, but Maxie is family and she is there mainly for her. The General Hospital preview for Friday also shows someone lurking in the background as Anna and Robin are up by the casket. Peter shows up at the funeral.

Nathan’s brother

It was confirmed that Peter August is Faison’s son when he called him dad right before Faison died. However, his name is really Henrik, not Peter, and he is not sorry that his dad is now gone. How about his newfound brother, Nathan? General Hospital spoilers suggests that Peter is curious. He doesn’t appear to be too upset about Nathan’s passing, so it could have something to do with someone attending the funeral. What, or who, is he curious about?
