Into the Badlands Season 2 available to stream for a limited time only!
In a surprise move, AMC has decided to make the entire second season of Into the Badlands available for streaming on their website. However, whether you are a new fan of the dystopian, martial arts drama, or just wanting to catch up, you’ll need to act fast.

After a quiet start to their TV run and a late renewal for a second season, Into the Badlands quickly became a hit going into Season 2. During that second season the show pulled in an average of 3.6 million viewers per episode, which made it the #4 ranked scripted show on cable television. (Hint: Two of the shows above it are on the same network and feature zombies.)
Set in a post apocalyptic world where the land is ruled by feudal “barons,” Into the Badlands promises at least one amazing fight scene per episode. The lead, Daniel Wu, plays Sunny, the most decorated clipper (assassin) in the Badlands. When MK (Aramis Knight) shows up with a relic from his past, Sunny knows he must leave the Badlands in search of answers, but it won’t be easy.
The show stands out from most because of its amazing fight choreography, incredibly diverse cast, and stunning cinematography. Whether critics are in love with the story or not, none of them can deny that the show is easy on the eyes.
How long do we have?
Into the Badlands gained popularity once the first season landed on Netflix and that season can still be streamed there today. As of yesterday however, you can now stream Seasom 2 on AMC.com. The second season will remain up until March 20th, so you have plenty of time to binge the first season’s six episodes and the second season’s 10 episodes before they remove them from their site.

What’s next?
After a long wait between the end of Season 1 and the renewal for Season 2, AMC renewed the show for a third season only halfway through the second. The network ordered a 15-episode third season (though IMDB shows 16). This longer third season should allow for more storytelling, as the first two felt somewhat rushed. The new season will also bring in a load of new faces, including Lewis Tan. Tan, a well renowned martial artist and stunt man, was a fan favorite to play an Asian-American Iron Fist in the Netflix series. He ended up settling for a smaller role in the show, and was a standout in a show with poor fight choreography. Tan should feel much more at home in the Badlands.
Into the Badlands returns to AMC on Sunday April 22nd at 10/9 Central.
