During Supernatural’s Seattle convention, Misha Collins answered questions about his odd accent choice for the Cosmic Entity. He also hinted at another opportunity coming soon.

Misha Collins is an extremely entertaining element to Supernatural. Whether he’s Castiel, Cassifer, the Cosmid Entity, or even off-set, he’s always trying something new or up to something. Season 13 saw the introduction of the Entity within the Empty and Collins instantly gave him an odd accent.

During a Q&A panel at Supernatural‘s Seattle Con, Collins shared more about where the accent came from and the showrunners’ dislike for it at first. However, that wasn’t the important moment to take from the clip that is now on YouTube (and shared below).

Collins mentioned there was another opportunity for another weird voice coming up. It’s not entirely clear whether he was just sharing his thoughts when he first saw the Entity or whether it’s an opportunity coming up later in Supernatural Season 13.

More from Supernatural

Recently, Jared Padalecki shared that Sam was going to be hurt during Episode 21 of the season. The actor had been through a long makeup process. Considering Jensen Ackles shared that he would get to play another character “soon,” may fans thought that maybe Ackles’ character would beat Sam up. However, it’s possible that it’s Collins’ character with the weird voice possibly coming up.

Fans have wondered whether Castiel is even Castiel right now. The last episode certainly made it look like he was definitely our own Cass, but there have certainly been moments that have had us questioning things. The hint of the accent suggests that he’s not quite himself after all.

What do you think about the chance of another weird voice? Do you like when Collins puts on accents? What would you like it to mean for Supernatural Season 13? Share in the comments below.
