Criminal Minds Season 13, Episode 20 preview: All You Can Eat

Garcia becomes the main focus in Criminal Minds Season 13, Episode 20, while the BAU need to deal with a potential bioterrorist.

It’s never a dull day for the BAU and this episode of Criminal Minds Season 13, titled “All You Can Eat,” has a focus of family again. Hot off the back of focusing on Rossi’s third ex-wife and Matt’s wife, it’s Garcia’s turn to get the focus. Meanwhile, the team will deal with a potential bioterrorist situation.

Garcia’s storyline is all about her stepbrother and a promo photo makes it look like she’ll need to talk about whether she should be let out on parole. Despite her being a main character from the very beginning (and one of three who has been here from the very start; only one of two who has been in every season), we know very little about her life outside of the BAU.

There are plenty of questions now. What has her stepbrother done and why does she need to talk at this potential hearing? Which side will she be on, considering everything she has seen and learned during her time with the BAU? Of course, there are also questions surrounding the reasons for so many personal storylines lately, but that could be just the way to stretching the season out to 22 episodes.

As for the BAU’s case, they’re getting called out to a suspected case of bioterrorism due to a number of mysterious deaths. That’s all we know about this case right now, except that they’re in Virginia, which means they’re not too far from home. It won’t be the first time they’ve dealt with bioterrorism and all other cases have left us on the edges of our seats.

This is the penultimate night before the two-hour Criminal Minds Season 13 finale next week. That means no new SEAL Team next week, but there is the high chance of a major cliffhanger for the BAU. While CBS hasn’t officially picked up the series for another year, the chances are looking good.
