Supernatural Season 14 teaser dropped by Jensen Ackles

Season 13 may have only just wrapped, but Jensen Ackles has teased Supernatural Season 14 and it’s got fans questioning next season like crazy!

Supernatural Season 13 has officially wrapped. The cast and crew have said their goodbyes to the storyline and many are looking forward to their well-deserved break. However, Jensen Ackles is looking forward to the season to come. He’s given us a teaser of Supernatural Season 14.

Dropping a photo on his Instagram, Ackles made it clear that we may not get the same Dean Winchester we’ve been used to all these years. It looks like he’s in clothing from the past, around the 1930s to 1950s period. That’s not that surprising considering Dean has fully thrown himself into clothing choices from the past when necessary, but the shading of the photo and the fact that it’s for next season seems ominous.

Of course, this is all coupled with that news that Ackles was getting to play someone other than Dean Winchester. I thought that was coming up around Episode 21, considering Jared Padalecki teased that Sam was getting a beating, but it could be something that happens in the season finale and gets us ready for Supernatural Season 14. This would be a little like Deanmon appearing at the very end of Season 9, but hopefully, the writers have learned and will do more with this other character.

There are many theories over who Dean will become. My favorite is that Dean will finally have to say yes to Michael and we’ll see him take on the archangel’s personality. Another theory is that he will become Death or a reaper, considering Billie has made a point that she’ll see him soon–and specifically him.
