By Sandy C.
So many great movies are headed our way this summer! Which one are you most looking forward to?
What are you in the mood to watch this summer at the movies? A family film? Comedy? Girls night out movie? An action packed thriller? Maybe one of each? No worries, there will be plenty for you to watch this summer.
So far, 2018 has been an amazing year for moviegoers. We’ve loved Ready Player One, Avengers: Infinity War, A Quiet Place, the recently released Deadpool 2, and more. The fun continues this weekend with the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story. And the upcoming summer season only brings more awesome movies our way.
From Incredibles 2 to The Spy Who Dumped Me, here are 7 movies we are most excited to watch (in no particular order)…
#7 Ocean’s 8
Premiere date: Friday, June 8

Synopsis: After being released from prison, Debbie (Sandra Bullock) decides to pull of the heist of the century — rob the New York annual Met Gala, which includes a necklace worth over $150 million. But to get away with it, Debbie will need to put together an unstoppable team. And she knows the perfect women for the job!
Cast: Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna.
Why we’re so excited to watch it: Ocean’s 8 is star-studded! We were excited when news about the reboot surfaced, but the trailer has blown us away! We are living for Anne Hathaway! It’s going to be great to see her again, especially paired up with the amazing Bullock, Blanchett, Paulson, literally all the leading ladies in the movie.
Ocean’s 8 also seems to give Rihanna more screen time (and lines) than other films have in the past. Can’t wait to see her stretching those acting chops. Avengers: Infinity War, step aside! This is going to be the ultimate team up.
