Tom Ellis has revealed that there are some talks about a Lucifer season 4, which gives Lucifans one last push to save Lucifer. What did the actor that portrays Lucifer Morningstar have to say, and what can Lucifans do?

According to CBR, on Saturday, while in London for the MCM Comic Con, Tom Ellis revealed that he was “gutted” when  he was told Lucifer was canceled by Fox.

This cancelation surprised him and the entire cast, as they had already filmed the two stand alone episodes that are going to air on Fox on Monday, May 28.

They never imagined that the show would not see a season 4, especially after the big reveal in the season 3 finale.

He also explained that although he can not reveal any details, nor speak further on the subject of saving Lucifer, he continues to admit that there are “conversations” about a season 4.

This may very well be the last push to save this Fox show. Ellis has already explained why the CW was not an option, while a streaming service was going to be the best bet to save Lucifer.

As we previously reported, Tom Ellis has been quite vocal about the save Lucifer fan support and how this has energized him and the rest of the cast of the Fox show.

On Sunday, executive producer Joe Henderson has specifically instructed to fans what they need to do now. Posting on Twitter, he explained that the upcoming double bonus episodes is the “last time” Lucifans can let the broadcasters know that they want to see Lucifer saved.

"“This is our last chance to show what our fandom is capable of. US viewers in partular, if you can watch live, the ratings will be a huge signal to send to a new potential home. #Lucifer #SaveLucifer”"

Besides advising US fans to watch the show live, Henderson, who was formerly the co-producer of White Collar, also tweeted that those who watch Lucifer on Hulu Live or YouTube Live will be counted on the all-important Nielsen ratings.

Henderson has also instructed Lucifans to use just two hashtags: #Lucifer, and #SaveLucifer when posting on social media.

Last week, Henderson posted a photo of himself alongside Lucifer star Tom Ellis, with the intriguing caption “Planning devilish things.”

Could this further confirm that something is in the works to bring a Lucifer season 4?

Clearly, there is a need for immediate action to save Lucifer. Fans should not expect a shooting star like Tom Ellis to sit around idly for too long.

Unlike Tim Allen and Last Man Standing, a show that will surprisingly return after being canceled a year ago, Tom Ellis will be snatched onto a new show if something is not resolved soon. Ellis is an actor with a cornucopia of talents, combined with charisma that go beyond a typical actor. He can do comedy and drama equally, and he can’t certainly carry a tune.

After three seasons of Lucifer, the charming Welsh-born actor has certainly proven he can carry a show. Lucifans just want to see him stay put on the show they love, and see what happens next between Chloe and Lucifer.
