Box office: The top 10 movies before Ant-Man and the Wasp take over

Three new films joined the box office — Sicario: Day or the Soldado, Uncle Drew, and Sanju. How did they do in theaters? The box office numbers are in!
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom surprised everyone this weekend with a decent box office win. It was expected to be number one again, after all, no major film premiered last Friday. However, a $60 million weekend is great, considering its low domestic opening weekend sum (only low when compared to the first Jurassic World). Worldwide, Fallen Kingdom is very close to collecting one billion, sitting at $932.3 million.
Following “incredibly” close to the second Jurassic, is Incredibles 2 with $45.5 million. The highly anticipated sequel now has a total of $646.8 million. Where did the new debuts land on the top 10? Check all ten movies below!
Day of the Soldado opened to $19 million. After adding its international box office numbers, the movie now has a total of $27.4 million. Its reported budget was $35 million.

Uncle Drew settled for number four with $15.5 million. And the third debut, Sanju scored $2.5 million, sitting at number eight.

Fallen Kingdom will be knocked out of the top spot this coming weekend with the premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp on Friday, July 6. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie isn’t the only new debut this weekend, though, Sorry to Bother You will also arrive to theaters. And The First Purge will open on Wednesday, July 4.
