Supernatural Season 3, Episode 6 brought Bela back as an antagonist–well, more like an annoyingly bad penny that keeps showing up. Here are the best lines from the episode.

Bela Talbot became the ultimate bad penny that wouldn’t stay gone–in an amusing way, of course. We also got a little more information about her, hinting at the big reveal towards the end. Supernatural Season 3, Episode 6 didn’t hold back on the comedy and the ghost stories, bringing death omens to life again.

There were some excellent lines in “Red Sky at Morning,” developing characters and just having fun in difficult situations. Here are the five best lines from the episode.

Yes, I fed the meter. Sam, where’s my car? Somebody stole my car?!

More from Supernatural

In Supernatural Season 13, Sam asked Dean what he’d do if Baby was stolen. Well, we knew how he’d react after seeing the way he reacted in this episode. The car wasn’t parked where Sam and Dean had left it and that instantly made Dean panic. It was adorable and believable at the same time, making it clear just how much Baby means to him.

On silk sheets, rolling naked in money. Really, Sam. I’d expect the attitude from him, but you?

Sam certainly doesn’t like Bela. Well, she did shoot him (well, graze him), so it’s not surprising that he didn’t like her. The sassy answer she had when he asked how she slept at night was very typical of her. She didn’t need to think about it, showing that she didn’t care about hurting others–she just didn’t want to get close to them.

Not in public.

Of course, it’s Sam with the next line. Dean wants to shoot Bela–I think a lot of people did at this point. For once, Sam wasn’t going to stop Dean from actually shooting her. All he wanted was for it not to be in public. Smart, Sam; very smart.

…Don’t objectify me… Let’s go.

This is always a line I think about when it comes to this Supernatural Season 3 episode. Dean is quite happy dishing it out but can’t take it. We’ve seen it a few times, but this is the moment that really does stand out. Part of this was possibly because it’s Bela and he has this odd relationship with her. In another life, the two could have been perfect for each other.

So they were brothers. Very Cain and Abel. So now our spirit, he’s going after a very specific kind of target – people who’ve spilled their own family’s blood. See first there was Sheila who killed her cousin in the car accident, and the Warren brothers, who murdered their father for the inheritance. And now you.

It’s a long line, but an important one. This makes it clear just why the spirit is now after Bela. She’s spilled her own family’s blood. There are a few other reasons this line stands out. One is that it links back to the first season in a way. Remember “Bloody Mary?” Her spirit killed those who had killed other people but kept secrets about it. While not family, there are similarities. Then there’s the fact that Cain and Abel are mentioned. If only the Winchesters knew in a few seasons they’d meet the real Cain. And of course, it foreshadows more of Bela’s story. Why didn’t she just tell them the full truth?
