For many, it was that mention of setting him free. After all, the 14th season is going to be about setting Dean free from Michael; getting that archangel out of his vessel in some way.

What is worth noting is that the team is currently shooting the premiere episode. Unlike previous years, the filming is starting in episode order. So, that means those spoilers we’ve seen so far have all been for the Supernatural Season 14 premiere. Exciting!
