Supernatural Season 14 spoilers: Next director announced and you’ll love it
The next director for Supernatural Season 14 has been named. You’ll love who’s work you’ll soon get to see and we even get an episode number.
Jim Michaels has returned with more tech survey photos. The latest shows the director of the next Supernatural Season 14 episode being filmed. The best part is that we get the episode number, which means lots to look forward to at the start of the season.
I’ve tried to keep that intro vague because there are some who don’t want to know spoilers at all. But names and tweets will be revealed from now!
Next director of Supernatural Season 14
Yes, Richard Speight Jr. is heading back into the director’s chair for Supernatural Season 14. To the right of the photo below, you can just make out the “2,” which means the filming has been in order so far.

Does this mean Gabriel is coming back? Not quite. What it means is Speight Jr. is still a member of the crew. It’s worth pointing out that he’s directed episodes in previous seasons between Gabriel’s last appearance in Season 9 and the most recent in Season 13. This could be another case of him remaining behind the camera for now. At least with him connected to the show still it’s easier for the showrunners to bring him back should they want to!
For now, we’ll just have to accept that we get director Speight Jr. It will be interesting to see the directing style he takes for this episode and I can’t wait to find out more about what the episode is going to be about.
