How long will Michael!Dean stick around for this time on Supernatural?

Michael!Dean is back. Love him or hate him (or just hate the fact that Jensen Ackles isn’t playing Dean Winchester right now), this is the storyline for Supernatural. But how long will it last?

When Supernatural Season 14 started, we didn’t have Dean Winchester. Michael had taken over our elder Winchester brother and started his plan for world domination. That storyline is unsurprisingly back, but how long will it be for this time?

This will be somewhat easy to figure out. Well, we know how long maximum this issue can go on for, unless the writers are going to do something completely outside the box for the upcoming milestone episode.

Remember, Episode 300 is coming up. There is absolutely no way that the writers wouldn’t have Dean Winchester around for that episode. The writers proved they couldn’t do this when they got rid of Deanmon so quickly in time for the 200th episode in Season 10. Considering this episode is the 13th of the season, that means we have three episodes maximum of Michael!Dean.

Of course, there are some ways around this. There is some time travel hinted at for the 300th episode, which would allow for Dean to be around but Michael!Dean still be a problem after the milestone episode. Or, Michael!Dean could be the big issue to tackle in this special episode, which is why John Winchester is brought back into play. He was a vessel for Michael at one point, after all.

Considering the way things were handled for the 200th episode, it’s highly likely that the Winchesters will be back in full force for the 300th episode. I don’t think Michael!Dean is sticking around for too long.
