This week on The Big Bang Theory, Raj attempts a fresh start with Anu and Leonard is asked a very awkward question. Here are the best moments from this week’s episode!

Last week on The Big Bang Theory, Raj and Anu had a falling out over a misunderstanding about her ex-boyfriend which generated some trust issues. We also saw Sheldon grow more comfortable with people being fond of his research until he realized no one wanted him to do press for his groundbreaking work.

This week brought some more insight into Raj’s falling out with Anu and also provided more insight into his decision to marry her. While this storyline still feels perplexing, the episode could be the start of a soft reboot in their relationship. Also, Leonard gets a very strange request from one of her ex-boyfriends Zack.

#1 Zack returns to the show

Longtime fans of the show will remember Penny’s bonehead ex-boyfriend Zack who is lovable but extremely dumb. At the start of the episode, Bernadette, Amy, and Penny are out for drinks when a mysterious person buys them an extremely expensive bottle of alcohol. When asking who purchased the bottle it’s revealed to be Zack. Once he approaches, he brags that he asked to buy the most expensive bottle in the house, which was $200 dollars–so he gave them $300. Why? Because logic is not a strong suit for Zack.

We find out though, Zack is now rich from selling his company and by the end of the scene, he invites Penny and Leonard to come on his boat to meet his wife. In the next scene, Penny comes home to tell him about the invite and he reluctantly agrees to go. He’s also discouraged by Zack’s success considering how hard he works.

#2 Raj reenacts Love, Actually

This week Raj had a lot of soul-searching to confront and most of this was due to the falling out of Raj and Anu. He first attempts to make amends with her by ringing her doorbell to initiate the doorbell camera app on her phone.

When she looks at the camera Anu sees Raj holding posterboard signs begging to talk. He then starts showing more messages and she comes to the door. When asking why he is using signs, he responds by saying, “You haven’t seen, Love Actually?”

After this, a lot of the issues between them are aired out including the fact Anu believes the only reason Raj wants to marry her is that he doesn’t want to be left behind among his married friends. Honestly, she has a fair point. Unfortunately, their problems are not resolved right away.

#3 Zack wants children– From Leonard

The funniest bit from the episode involved Zack’s extremely awkward request of Leonard. Penny and Leonard accept his request to board his boat to meet his wife and hang out for drinks. However, Zack and his wife reveal that the reason they invited them is Zack has a low sperm count from a lot of dumb choices in college involving groin kicking. What shocks Penny is Leonard is actually flattered and sort of digs the idea. That said, Penny finds the idea to be an uncomfortable one and demands they at least talk it over.
