Phil Sgriccia directing Supernatural Season 14, Episode 15
Phil Sgriccia is back in the driver’s seat for Supernatural Season 14, Episode 15. What details do we have so far?
Supernatural is currently onto the filming of its 15th episode. The filming is currently out of order, as it will be filmed as the 16th episode of the season. This isn’t that uncommon (Season 10 started with the filming of Episode 3!) and is usually due to scheduling, but no reason has been given.
Jim Michaels shared the tech survey for the episode, which means the EPs and set departments are sourcing the locations for the episode. One thing the tech survey tells us is that Phil Sgriccia is back in the driving seat. The episode is titled “Peace of Mind,” with Meghan Fitzmartin as the writer.
You’ll all recognize the name. At least, you should! Sgriccia has been with the series from the very beginning and directs a handful of episodes every season. He’s also an executive producer on the show (and has joined Eric Kripke on his latest project, The Boys). Most recently, we’ve seen Sgriccia’s work on Episode 12, “Damaged Goods.”

While out scouting locations, Michaels shared a couple of images. There are definitely going to be night shoots and they’re in the mud (not surprising considering the weather in Vancouver right now!). It’s not common for photos of the locations scouted to be shared, sometimes due to spoilers, so this is an exciting share.

So far, a synopsis for the episode hasn’t been shared. Nor has a date of release. This could be the last episode aired before a mini Hellatus or could be the first of the last block of episodes for the season.
