Every day, the Supernatural crew share the QOTD board on Twitter. For Valentine’s Day, there was a poignant quote that connected to Episode 300.

The Supernatural  Quote of the Day (QOTD) board is one of the highlights of social media during filming. This doesn’t just tell us where the production is in filming but it also gives us a quote to focus on for the day. Jason Fischer shared the Valentine’s Day quote that was important for the day, but also important for Episode 300.

Fans will remember during Episode 300, Dean Winchester admitted that he wouldn’t change the things they’d done even if they could. He wouldn’t want to not have the life he currently has. While there may be a lot of bad, they’ve become better people because it — and he didn’t even touch on the amount of people they’ve saved over the years, which is something fans have pointed out.

The QOTD board brought back memories of that moment in the episode. It’s all about how the past shapes a person. There are always going to be moments that we hate from our life. We may even hate everything that happened to us. However, those past events have turned us into the people we are now.

That was certainly the case for the Winchesters. John Winchester regularly being absent led to the brothers forming a bond that couldn’t be permanently broken. Without the experiences of Hell, the brothers wouldn’t fight so hard to prevent people from going there. The experiences saving people and learning more about individuals have changed their viewpoints — Dean doesn’t look at hunting as black and white like he did in the very first season.

The Valentine’s Day QOTD is certainly something we should all take away. One thing I’ve seen about the Supernatural fandom is that it and the show have saved so many people. It’s helped to change so many mindsets and this is another thing that will do that.
