Monday TV ratings: Manifest ends down, The Good Doctor up [Feb. 18]
Monday TV ratings are in and they’re definitely disappointing to look at. Most shows were down from previous weeks, including Manifest, which aired its season finale. Here are the Feb. 18 ratings.
With some shows coming to an end for the season, there was hope the Monday TV ratings would be good. Unfortunately, almost everything across the board was down on Feb. 18. There were a few exceptions, but it’s bad news for the Manifest season finale.
Looking at the finale, the figures were down almost 10% in both the audience (5.42 million) and demo (1.0). While the demo sat second in the last slot of the night, the total audience was down to third. Considering this freshman hasn’t had a second season renewal yet, there are a lot of worries about the future after that shocking cliffhanger reveal.

- Monday TV ratings: All American down, Quantum Leap up (Nov. 7)
- Weekend live TV ratings: Fire Country and FBI mixed
All 8 p.m. slot shows were down in the demo. The Neighborhood was down the most, seeing a 15% drop in the demo and 7% drop in the total audience compared to the previous episode. Man with a Plan followed suit with a 10% drop in the demo and 6% drop in the total audience.
FOX’s The Resident had an extremely plot-heavy episode with the QuoVardis storyline but also saw a drop in both metrics. Maybe this story is just getting old now?
It was the reality shows that faired the best in the first time slot. While both saw dips in the demo, America’s Got Talent: The Champions held relatively steady in the audience (and won the night) and The Bachelor ticked up by 4% to 6.48 million.
The second timeslot didn’t see major downward ticks like the previous hour. The Passage held steady for once in the demo, but its total audience ticked down to a series low of 3.5 million. Meanwhile, CBS saw a better uptick in the demo with Magnum P.I. and a smaller downward tick in the audience to 5.3 million.
ABC and CBS had the best of luck throughout the night. Both metrics remained steady or ticked up in the 10 p.m. slot, with Bull winning the timeslot with its 6.73 million total audience. The Good Doctor won the demo in the timeslot with 1.2 but came in second with a total audience of 6.21 million.
The CW opted for reruns of Arrow and Black Lightning and the Monday TV ratings show. The results were about half of what is usually expected.
