There are still plenty of questions about the events from the episode. The promo shows Jack using his powers, which means drawing on the magic that’s keeping his soul alive. However, there’s a moment that makes it look like Jack is going to harm Rowena, but is that really going to be the case? One of our writers, Bonnie, certainly doesn’t think so.
The title is certainly curious. It’s the name of the Ancient Egyptian (and later Greek) hieroglyph of the snake eating its own tail. The idea is that the destruction brings life, which certainly connects to Jack using his powers.

And then there’s the sneak peek that we need to consider. Dean shares that the pounding in his head is constant. He needs to consistently remain focused to keep Michael trapped inside his head, but that means he’s barely sleeping and he may not be able to keep his head in the game.
