Supernatural Season 14, Episode 17 synopsis: Guess who’s back!

Sam and Dean head off on a case together in Supernatural Season 14, Episode 17. Meanwhile, a familiar face is back. Here’s the synopsis for the Apr. 4 episode.

There’s going to be a break before Supernatural Season 14, Episode 17. We knew a week off had to come and it makes sense putting it in the middle of the final episodes. That doesn’t stop us getting excited for the episode, titled “Game Night,” with the synopsis now released.

For those who don’t like any spoilers at all, this is definitely not the post for you. It doesn’t give too much away for Episode 16, but it may tease a little if you’re worried about some of the characters. Most of the focus is purely on what’s to come in Episode 17.

Airing on Apr. 4, the synopsis shows us that the Winchester brothers are back together on a hunt. However, this isn’t any normal hunt. They need to get to a friend in need. Who will that friend be?

There are a few friends out there who could call on the Winchesters for some help. Apocalypse Bobby and Charlie are both still alive — since they weren’t shown to be in the bunker at the time of Michael’s attack — and we know Donatello still sometimes has issues with being soulless. It’s okay, though. Donatello just thinks “WWWD.”

It could be Garth who needs help. He’s currently supercharged and we have no idea what’s going to happen to these monsters now that Michael is gone. I worried that the monsters would die once Michael was gone, but maybe they’re not connected to Jack.

Meanwhile, Jack’s wellbeing concerns Mary Winchester, who is back for the first time since finding out about Dean’s Ma’lak box plan. Is she concerned about him being almost soulless or is this connected to the grace of the archangel?

Then there’s Castiel. He’s going to turn to a familiar face: Jo. Yes, Danneel Ackles is finally back. I am a little worried about this. As a guest star, I do wonder if she’s going to stick around for too long or make some sort of sacrifice to save our favorite angel.
