There are many concerns about our favorite nephilim, Jack. Now that his soul is gone, is there a way to get it back. Can and will God help on Supernatural?

Supernatural Season 14, Episode 17 gave us plenty of questions by the end. We’re not sure if certain characters are still alive or if some are really dead. However, our concerns right now are all about Jack.

Caution: Spoilers from the episode. If you haven’t watched it yet, you may want to skip but there aren’t any what I consider major plot spoilers.

It was made clear in “Game Night” that Jack’s soul is completely gone. There’s not a shred of it left and no glimmer of hope. But is there? Is it possible that someone out there will be able to help?

There have been many questions about God in all this. Supernatural Season 11 finally confirmed that Chuck was God, just at a time he was giving up on the world. He was going to let his sister destroy it. And then Dean found a way to save it, helping the two omnipotent beings male up. God is now somewhere out there and we’ve already wondered whether God would return.

The initial thoughts were that he would return to help save the world from Michael. Could he prove Michael wrong about the thoughts of him as a writer, giving up on a draft of a world because it failed? Now that Michael is gone, there’s another reason God is needed.

Jack needs him. Out of everyone out there, God could be the one to give Jack his soul back. He creates everything (while his sister destroys and sucks out souls) so it is possible that God could give Jack his soul back, restore it, or even give him a whole new one.

In theory, it would work, but would God do this? God hasn’t been seen for a while and he doesn’t answer prayers that often. Castiel and Anael discussed God’s whereabouts in the last episode but it’s clear that God doesn’t want to be found right now. Does that mean God doesn’t care or that he doesn’t think he can help?
