All eyes are currently on the new fall season. Our favorite shows are coming to an end for another season and we’re left with cliffhangers we need resolutions for. 9-1-1 is one of those shows we’re looking out for. When will 9-1-1 Season 3 premiere on FOX?
We don’t have an exact date just yet, but there is some good news. We will get to see the third season in the fall. FOX confirmed this during its Upfronts earlier this month.

In fact, we’re not moving too much. The show will remain on Monday nights but in the earlier time of 8 p.m. This is actually the time the Season 2 finale surprisingly aired at, and it looks like this was a test to see if the timeslot works (it does).
Our first responder drama will act as the lead-in for a new FOX series called Prodigal Son. It makes sense to use 9-1-1 as the lead-in. This is a popular show – one of the highest rated shows on the network – and there’s hope that the people who are watching the series will continue to tune in for the new show in the hour afterward.
The premiere will likely be in the last week of September. Last season, we saw the show get a two-night special, premiering on the Sunday and then settling into its Monday night timeslot the day after. This could be something the network chooses to do for this season, so we may be looking at Sep. 22 or Sep. 23 for the third season.
