The CW sets fall premiere dates for Arrow, The Flash, Supernatural, and more
Fall 2019 is still a few months away but the primetime networks are setting premiere dates. The CW is one of the latest, setting dates for The Flash, Supernatural, and more.
While we may only just be gearing up for the summer months, the networks are busy setting their fall 2019 schedules. That means premiere dates are being set, and The CW has become the third network to set its dates. The Flash, Batwoman, Nancy Drew, Supernatural, and more have return dates.
Most of the returns are when many would have expected. The CW tends to bring its shows back around the second week of October, which is the case in fall 2019. It all kicks off with Sundays on Oct. 6, with freshman Batwoman kicking off the schedule at 8 p.m. with Supergirl flying into her new time at 9 p.m.

For the most part, the schedule doesn’t have any surprises. The big change is that Black Lightning isn’t returning during the same week that other shows are. It’s going to be a couple of extra weeks for the third season to premiere, waiting until Oct. 21.
Arrow‘s final season is also being held a week, which will certainly be to do with scheduling for the 10 episodes. The idea is that the final 10 episodes will run into the crossover with the other Arrowverse shows.
Legacies was the show held off last season but that’s not happening this year. It will premiere its second season straight after Supernatural‘s final season premieres on Oct. 10, which means the post-SPN slot isn’t being used for reruns of Batwoman and Nancy Drew.
Instead, Batwoman‘s encore of its pilot episode will be in the post-All American slot on Oct. 7 and then in the post-The Flash slot on Oct. 8. Yes, the show is getting two encores.
Nancy Drew will get an encore after All American on Oct. 14. It’s only getting the one encore.
