A alien invasion?

More from Supernatural

It all starts with the Winchesters investigating the disappearance of four people and reports of crop circles and lights in the sky. Naturally, there are theories of aliens. While Sam stays in the city to watch Mr. Brennen, the father of the first man abducted, Dean heads out to the cornfield where the abduction took place.

While out there, Dean sees a bright light in the sky. He’s on the phone to Sam when it happens and he starts running through the cornfield creaming about UFOs. Suddenly, he disappears in a flash of light and Sam has to head out to the scene. Only Dean’s cell phone has been left behind.

Sam decides to pay a visit to an “alien hunter,” who can only give pages of interviews with those who have had close encounters. What he does get is a woman, Sparrow, who is interested in Sam’s story.

Fight the fairies!

It takes hours for Dean to return, although he only thinks he’s been gone an hour or so. Dean is convinced it was aliens that took him and they’re the ones at the center of all the disappearances in the area. While Sam heads to the library to research, Dean stays at the motel, where a “little, glowing, hot, naked lady” flies into the motel room.

Dean manages to trap the naked woman in the microwave and cooks her, but Sam isn’t able to see anything when there. However, Sam is smart enough to know his brother isn’t just seeing things. The encounters have been that of fairies, which was something one of the neighbors had suggested

Later that night, Dean and Sam see Mr. Brennan loading boxes of cream. It’s a hint that there are fairies, and sure enough, Mr. Brennan has elves working in his shop. It turns out Mr. Brennan did a deal with a leprechaun to save his watchmaking business. The consequences were capturing the firstborn sons in the city, which explains why Dean was taken.

Dealing with the problem

Unfortunately, Dean is mistakenly charged with a hate crime, leaving Sam to help Mr. Brennan deal with the leprechaun. Mr. Brennan attempts to help but is killed by Wayne Whittaker, the leprechaun he made the deal with.

This is a chance for Sam to get his soul back, but he refuses to do a deal with the leprechaun. When a fight breaks out, Sam decides to spill salt, after learning that fairies and leprechauns have to stop and count every single grain. It’s the time Sam needs to read the ritual to banish all fairies back to their real.

Fortunately, the man Dean attacked drops the charges and all is right again. Well, in a Supernatural way.
