Which episode of Supernatural Season 15 will Jensen Ackles direct?
Jensen Ackles will direct an episode of Supernatural Season 15. While it will be the first filmed, we now know which episode it will be in the series.
The first episode of Supernatural Season 15 filmed is not going to be the premiere episode. Jensen Ackles will direct it, but we now know which episode it will be within the final season.
Look out for Episode 4, according to TVLine. There’s no title yet but we do know that it will air Oct. 31, so it could be a Halloween-focused episode. Well, that is as long as The CW doesn’t decide to have a break on Halloween this year. Of course, every day is Halloween for the Winchesters, but we have had two Halloween-focused episodes in the past.

Why would the fourth episode be the first filmed? This isn’t the first time the show has filmed out of order. In fact, when Ackles directs an episode, it’s always the first episode filmed. He usually directs either the third or fourth episode of a season.
Setting it as the first episode filmed is important. It means that Ackles will have time to prepare in the previous week. It would be hard to prepare and act in the other episodes if filming didn’t work out this way.
